Letrozole

Letrozole is an aromatase inhibitor similar to that of anastrozole, which was also initially used in the treatment of breast cancer in women. When used in micro-doses, men undergoing testosterone replacement therapy use this medication to maintain a balance of estrogen and testosterone.

Letrozole in some cases has been known to have a longer half-life, which is another way of saying it lasts longer in the human body. This medication, when used correctly can sustain balanced levels of estrogen and testosterone, minimizing or alleviating symptoms of high estrogen symptoms in males. Again, this medication should only be taken when routinely being monitored via blood work by your treating physician.
